How to select and control multiple ships
If you want to send multiple ships you own all to a
certain place or control as a group, you can do so by selecting them.
You can also use this function to control just one ship, without having to change command to that ship.
First, you LEFT click on an area, drag the
cursor to circle all the ships (you own) that you want to control at once, and a
box will be made around them when you release the left mouse button.

*notice that even though there are ships that you do not own in this box (gray icon instead of green), only the ships you own will be selected*
To see exactly which ships are in that selected box, you will want to look in the upper left corner of your screen, like below.

Here it tells us that there are two ships selected, and what
the names and registration numbers of those ships are. Also, because they
are green, you know the hull is 100%. Yellow
means there is some damage, and red means the ship
is barely holding on!
You can also see, in space, which ships you are controlling as a group because their icon will change to a diamond instead of the standard circle icon, like here:

You can do this with your entire fleet of ships, or even just one, depending on what you wish to do next.
Once you have selected the ship or ships you want, you can then control them with most of the normal right click mouse features... as long as they are still selected.
To unselect, simply left click anywhere on the screen, and you will see the standard circle icons again, and no ships listed in the upper left corner.
